Since then, Juneteenth saw the highest number of calls, with 1,700 complaints. The reason for the sudden proliferation of firework displays is not clear.

You need a pyrotech for large fireworks. Are there that many available or are people blowing there fingers off with illegal fireworks?

4,000% increase 🤣🤣😂💯

We need to find out who is buying these. Who can subpoena these records?

For everyone claiming it’s because 4th July fireworks are cancelled - NYC announced Macy’s 4th of July fireworks are NOT cancelled. NYC was worst affected by covid & more than half the country never locked down. If NYC is having fireworks on the 4th, I doubt anyone else cancels.

Almost continuous barrage of LOUD explosions near Houston right now. Far too powerful for mere fireworks (shaking the house). Military trying to condition/intimidate us? Oh wait. I'm told it's a thunderstorm (or that's what they want us to believe). nhannahjones jessesingal

This has to be the worst year by far for excessive noise caused by fireworks. It has been non-stop in Los Angeles for many weeks now.

Where do NYC residents get fireworks anyway? I am not interested in buying any but I wonder how all of this stuff ends up in my neighborhood
