Shares in UK housebuilders are rallying sharply this morning. Persimmon, Barratt Developments and Taylor Wimpey have all jumped over 5% to the top of the FTSE 100 leaderboard. Barratt Developments told investors this morning that all its sites have now reopened, with workers following physical distancing. This means that new home completions have fallen by a third over the last year, from 17,856 to just 12,604.
