KUALA LUMPUR: Police have seized RM55,000 worth of drugs after raiding a courier company in Cheras here.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon said they raided the premises at around 2.30pm on Tuesday ."After further investigations, we arrested a 37-year-old Indonesian fishmonger at the compound of the courier company," he said in a statement on Thursday .

"Both suspects are being investigated for drug trafficking and immigration offences. They have been remanded for six days," he said. "We arrested the man at Taman Connaught on Tuesday, and are now investigating the source of the drugs.
