Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Giménez expects "it won't be long" until South Florida's hospital are filled with coronavirus patients. The greater Miami area is already seeing a "sharp increase in the number of people going to the hospital, the number of people that are in ICU, and the number of people on our ventilators," the Republican mayor said in a Sunday interview on CNN's "State of the Union.", with more than 15,000 new cases. Hospitalizations and deaths typically lag behind reports of new cases.
