KEPALA BATAS: Enticed by higher profits, a school leaver almost tripled his investments, only to find himself losing more than RM16,000 in a get-rich-quick scheme.

The 18-year-old initially wanted to invest only RM600 in a scheme but was persuaded to pump in more money when he was told that he could multiply his returns in just 12 hours.
