The US House Ethics Committee rules that 'Squad' member Rep. Rashida Tlaib must reimburse her political committee $10,800 for improper use of campaign funds

that Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan used campaign money for personal purposes in violation of federal law.

The Ethics Committee also "did not find that [Tlaib] sought to unjustly enrich herself by receiving the campaign funds at issue." Tlaib spokesman Denzel McCampbell said the congresswoman is "pleased that the Ethics Committee has resolved this matter finding that Representative Tlaib made a good faith effort to comply with a complex regulation."

The Ethics Committee, however, determined that Tlaib accepted $10,800 in campaign funds following her 2018 general election victory when she was no longer a candidate.

This is an outrage!!! She needed the money to visit her 'handlers' in Palestine.

Horrors, is there a suggestion Rep. Tlaib is as materialistic & self-centered as the officials she criticizes. What a shock.🤔Another Democrat with double standards, one for her critical focus & one for herself.

davelevinthal Good. Now how about all those Trump campaign funds filtered back into Trump properties, holdings, family, and friends

Done & done

Do we still have an ethics committee?
