A history of the 30-year feud between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, whose love-hate relationship spurred the success of Microsoft and Apple

But by 1997, Jobs was Apple's CEO. At his first Macworld keynote, he announced that he had accepted an investment from Microsoft to keep Apple afloat. Bill Gates appeared on a huge screen via satellite link. The audience booed.Gates clearly admired Jobs, even if they didn't always see eye-to-eye.

"When Apple introduced the iPod in 2001, Gates sent another email: "I think we need some plan to prove that, even though Jobs has us a bit flat footed again, we can move quick and both match and do stuff better."But Jobs was still pretty down on Microsoft, especially after Steve Ballmer took over from Bill Gates as CEO in 2000. "They've clearly fallen from their dominance. They've become mostly irrelevant," Jobs once said.

I think steve jobs didnt die naturally, his cancers was not an accident at all my opinion

One innovated, one worked well within the existing Corporate structure.

Steve jobs looked like Ashton Kutcher when he was in his 30s.

Quite aside from the fact that the only Capitalist 'competition' either one of these beloved public figureheads doubling as genius 'innovators' ever faced was each other. -A myth for the ages.

One is doing everything he can to give away every penny for the benefit of mankind, the other ... try to find any mention of his philanthropy.

Jobs never stole software.

both shouldn't be allowed to make as much money as they are making

Bill told me none of this even happened.
