The Committee of Youth on Mobilisation and Sensitisation has advocated judicious use of President Muhammadu Buhari`s youth investment fund of N75bn to empower the nation’s youth economically.

Director General, CYMS, Mr. Obinna Nwaka, made the call while fielding questions on engagement of Nigerian youths for actions to reflect the 2020 International Youth Day theme, when he featured on theNwaka noted that Nigerian youths have been engaged politically since the pronouncement and the signing into law of the ‘Not Too Young to Run’ bill by Mr. President in 2019.

“So, the youths are engaging well and we are glad that today a lot of them have dropped their social vices and all those activities that are detrimental to their own future. Nevertheless, he expressed pleasure that some Nigerian youths have now become useful to themselves and the nation by becoming good ambassadors and leaders, showing good examples to others in the society.

Nwaka assured Nigerian youths of mobilisation and sensitisation programmes to ensure the judicious management of the investment fund donated by the Federal Government.
