More often than not, this burden falls on mothers.One in five working-age adults is unemployed because Covid-19 upended their child care arrangements, according to new research from the Census Bureau and the Federal Reserve. My hrs were reduced from 40 to 28 when the pandemic hit in March, corporate finally approved for me to go back to 40hrs, I worked that for one week then had to cut it back down to 28hrs over 3 days so I can stay home with my 3 children... also thousands of $ in back rent owed
