Edwards challenges his clients to consider diversity beyond corporate positions. He champions a focus on the Black consumer, using Black or minority vendors, and investing in minority communities. Though much attention has been paid to new diversity and inclusion-specific corporate positions, the CEO is still the most important role in a company, especially when it comes to diversity, Edwards said.
Diversity should not be measured in only one single aspect like the colour of the skin or gender. The should be at least 20 other aspects included and then don't forget inclusion.
