Amazon's big shakeup: Jeff Bezos's No. 2 leaves, and the top leadership circle adds its first Black woman — here's the full list of Bezos's 'S-team'

Amazon announced on Friday that Jeff Wilke, CEO of worldwide consumer, is stepping down early next year.In addition, Amazon added three new executives to the company's "S-team," a group of 25 top leaders who work on the company's most important issues.

Jeff Wilke, the CEO of worldwide consumer who oversaw the entire retail division, said he's stepping down early next year. Wilke joined Amazon in 1999 and was widely considered as the second-most powerful executive in the company after CEO Jeff Bezos. In an email to employees on Friday, Wilke said "it's just time" to leave and that he doesn't have a new job lined up.

Amazon rarely talks about the inner workings of the S-team and there's very little turnover or new additions to the team. One notable change on Friday is the addition of Davis to the S-team, making her the first woman of color to join the highly coveted group. The S-team previously faced some criticism for the lack of diversity, for being almost entirely made up of white men and having just one woman on the team.
