Palantir CEO uses public filing to attack Silicon Valley as unpatriotic 'engineering elites' while allying itself with the Trump administration

"The engineering elite of Silicon Valley may know more than most about building software. But they do not know more about how society should be organized or what justice requires," cofounder and CEO Alex KarpIn the 17 years since it was founded, the secretive data-crunching firm has avoided the spotlight while racking up major contracts, primarily with government agencies like the Pentagon and ICE.

Now, Palantir is applying to go public in a direct listing — and its pitch to the public plays up its relationships with government agencies, depicting Silicon Valley tech companies as less patriotic. The filing also reflects Palantir's eagerness to position itself as uniquely adherent to Trump's foreign policy.

"Our company was founded in Silicon Valley. But we seem to share fewer and fewer of the technology sector's values and commitments," Karp wrote. "Our software is used to target terrorists and to keep soldiers safe ... We have chosen sides, and we know that our partners value our commitment." Palantir's extensive contracts with government agencies, while controversial, are touted as a competitive strength in the company's S-1 filing. The company pitches itself as a staunch supporter of the US government's foreign policy interests.

"Our software is used by the United States and its allies in Europe and around the world. Some companies work with the United States as well its adversaries. We do not. We believe that our government and commercial customers value this clarity," the company wrote.

Trump won't lose. Have you seen the videos? Rioters harassing & threatening restaurant patrons, marching thru streets saying Wake the F up Mother F'ers' riots all over the place now. Even Mayors who are hard core dems are turning on rioters. Their violence gave DT 4 more years

Better cash out now. If Trump loses in Nov, that could be a material risk...

Buy Palantir. Forget about partisanship. This company might become really dangerous in yhe future. Mightas well have some democratic control with voting shares.

PalantirTech should reveal its connection to the Kremlin and white nationalism.🤔
