"I wanted to make the best Christian movie Jesus has ever seen. It's time to show my dad what we can do," Luke tells childhood best friend Tanner . The parody movie is directed by Vincent Masciale and written by Barnett via their Lone Suspect production banner.trailer, released ahead of an Oct.
"Doesn't have to be God God. You can talk about a higher power," Margaret Cho, playing a movie industry executive, says with air quotes. Theparody, which debuted at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, has already drawn scorn from Breitbart and Fox News for taking a swipe at the lucrative Christian movie business.Catherine Dumonceaux, Matthew Emerson, co-star Lance Reddick, Ryan Bury and James Andrew Felts are executive producing.
