Walmart is launching Walmart+ at just the right time to drive adoption due to the pandemic and upcoming holiday season

, and it's unclear if Walmart has taken any steps to make the service more attractive and to combat theft now that it's returning. Members will be able to save as much as 5 cents a gallon on fuel purchases from almost 2,000 Walmart and Murphy USA gas stations, and Walmart will integrate its Sam's Club gas stations in the future as well. This should make Walmart+ stand out from other retail-focused subscriptions because other retailers don't control a network of gas stations.
