My support of the police is being sorely tried by their behavior. The union is too stupid for its own good.

it’s really not that hard to figure out why. it says a lot about the state of policing in america.
How does that helps the police long term. It just confirms the negative views, a reluctance to honestly look at itself, & therefore, means no change & things just kept repeating themselves.

It was only a small number of radicals saying 'de-fund' and 'eliminate' police, but the media picked it up and made it a thing. If one side says to cut your pay and eliminate your job, which side do you want? People are still assaulting, murdering, raping innocent people.
