The newly appointed Director General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism , Alhaji Nura Kangiwa, has pledged committed to increasing manpower capacity of the Institute for sustainable tourism development in Nigeria.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on August 25, approved the appointment of Kangiwa as the substantive Director General of NIHOTOUR through a letter signed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. The new DG further solicited the support of staff and members of the Institute in his drive to reposition the leading hospitality and tourism professionals’ training organization in Nigeria and West Africa.

He said his visit to ITPN is to seek the collaborative support of the Institute as a professional certification body of the tourism and hospitality industry in line with the training which NIHOTOUR provides, noting that he will ensure the enhancement of a cordial working relationship between NIHOTOUR and ITPN.
