Palantir's founders' stakes are worth a combined $4.9 billion, and an unusual class of common stock automatically gives them 49.99% of the firm's voting power

Comparing Palantir's executive compensation is hard because the firm doesn't really have any direct competitors, Palantir lists its major competitors as in-house software and IT teams and "large enterprise software companies, government contractors, and system integrators," but doesn't list any specific competitor firms in the filing.

The chart below shows the compensation split out by element: salary, bonus, NEIP , stock awards, and other compensation. By holding your cursor over the labels at the top of the chart, you can see how specific parts of compensation compare across listed executives. One notable difference in Karp's compensation: his "other compensation," which is a part of the summary compensation table that discloses compensation that doesn't fit anywhere else. Of Palantir's comparators listed in the chart, Karp's other compensation was by far the largest, at $2.8 million, compared to Microsoft's $111,000, Splunk's $61,000, and Domo's $14,000.

Karp's salary was higher than CEOs at both Domo and Splunk, at about $900,000 compared to $400,000 and $675,000, respectively. Nadella had a salary of $2 million.
