A large section of Sokoto Central Market has been consumed by a raging inferno.
The inferno, which cause has not been ascertained, started in the early hours of Tuesday, from the plastic ware section of the market. Concerted efforts by combined team of fire fighters to combat the fire was futile, as gaining access into the market was a herculean task.
