A deep freeze across Texas over the weekend took a toll on the energy industry in the largest U.S. crude-producing state, shutting oil refineries and forcing restrictions from natural gas pipeline operators.

johnflat oh i think you meant these are frozen lol
RWMann
how many feet od snow are they having..they already asked white house for emergency
so oil companies have to shut down because of the cold lol are you kidding me
Oh and it should be noted, the refineries in Texas all skirted cold weather conditioning and safety because it was a 'low' probability of freezing. So, expect some fun leaks and spills to come from the refineries and chemical plants along the coast.
So oil plays up or down tomorrow 🤔
All those big burly Texans - it turns out - are soft as the Pillsbury dough boy..
Time to abandon fossil fuel.
Cold.
I'm sorry but I'm happy this is happening in Texas after they way yhier DA and senators and representatives behaved ...
and just like that fuel prices look to rise again...I smell inflation coming:
Sounds like Texas is a terribly run state, unlike Illinois it can’t even handle a little cold weather!
And yet Texas has no power due to renewables
Even Mother Nature agrees with the Biden Plan for renewable energy sources.
