Aiming to increase women's representation in the aviation industry by up to 25%.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Airlines has joined a global initiative that aims to increase women's representation in the aviation industry by up to 25%.

A voluntary initiative which is supported by 57 signatories globally to date, it is expected to increase the female representation in the industry by 25%, or up to a minimum of 25% by 2025. “To achieve this, we must consciously avoid stereotyping a job to a particular gender, which tends to be a norm in a male-dominated industry.

He said that the 25by2025 initiative seeks to propel the creation of positive, encouraging and rewarding work experiences for the employees, in line with Malaysia Airlines’ long-term vision.
