Cementing its status as a brand that does a whole lot of good in the world, Garnier has announced that it is now officially certified by Cruelty Free International under the Leaping Bunny programme, which works to end animal testing.
While the brand has been opposed to animal testing for over 30 years , the new certification is a guarantee to consumers that what they buy is totally cruelty-free. The accreditation, which took 18 months to get, required scrupulous and forensic investigation of all of the brand’s supply chains, including all the ingredients and raw materials it utilises. Every single product is taken into consideration in order for a brand to be granted the status.
Garnier now becomes one of the biggest brands that Cruelty Free International has ever certified, and given that it’s a brand we all know, love and apply to our bodies, it makes us feel that much better about the products we add to basket.“To be officially approved by Cruelty Free International under the Leaping Bunny programme is a real milestone and was always an important part of our Green Beauty mission,” explains Adrien Koskas, Garnier’s global brand president.
