Georgia-based Delta and Coca-Cola took a tougher stance against the state's new voting law after being criticized for not doing enough to push back

Dozens of prominent Black executives called on corporations to fight Republican-led legislation they say would limit voting access for Black voters in numerous states, and Delta Air Lines Inc.’s CEO publicly clashed with Georgia’s governorThe efforts by Black business leaders, as well as new statements from Delta, Coca-Cola Co.

Opponents say the new voting rules will make it harder for voters in underrepresented communities to cast ballots, while backers say the rules are needed to preserve election integrity. Though Delta, Coca-Cola and other corporations with headquarters in Atlanta had said they had worked behind the scenes to lobby Georgia lawmakers to make changes to the legislation, they had largely refrained from publicly criticizing it—prompting boycott calls from some voting-rights activists.

In a Wednesday appearance on CNBC, Coca-Cola Chief Executive James Quincey said the company had always opposed the legislation, which he called unacceptable. Private efforts to lobby hadn’t worked, he said, “and so we’re being more forceful in our public position.”

Tough talk, where is the money? Follow the money as the FBI is so fond of saying. How much did these elist Corps and CEOs give to put Kemp in place directly and indirectly? They put him in they can get hin out so can the voters RECALL! If they mean it. DO IT!

What these executives are really saying is they want an election scheme that always results in Democrats winning. They are not really interested in any sort of FAIRNESS regarding elections. Their goal is simple; whatever it takes to win!

No one can explain how the new rules suppress any legal voters right to vote. It's another liberal campaign built on lies and propaganda.

Is it just words or are there actions behind this tough talk?

And will now be boycotted by everyone.

I need an I.D. to drive a car, to get a job, to board a plane, pick up prescriptions, get a vaccine and virtually everything else in life … So tell me again, why is using that I.D. to vote, ‘Voter suppression’? And no one is preventing blacks from bringing a bottle of water

Dumocrats must bully, make fun of, and censor anyone who disagrees with their agenda. The plan to replace democratic freedom with socialist control, and entrepreneurship culture with administrative culture is moving forward. VICIOUSLY.

The whole basis is folks in Atlanta need to wait in line longer than other counties? Why? Density? They’re not in Boston,Ny, LA, or other high density suburbs. Maybe the mayor should fix the long lines.

So brave of them to take a tough stand against voter ID’s

Large corporations bow down to Democrats to maintain there big pockets. They aren’t interested in your voting rights, they just want to continue making money! You’ll find that small businesses don’t do that because there morals and values are a higher priority than there pocket

I have a SIMPLE COMMON SENSE QUESTION: If we are asked for an ID for vaccines, why not have the same requirement for Voting? 🤷‍♂️

Taking a tough stance would be moving your HQ

Fear of the Twitter Woke Universe will flat destroy corporate integrity and leave an empty vessel of profit preservation. Fly SWA. 😏

Bullying Corporations into political opposition based on ridiculous and false claims about a voting bill that actually provides more access to voting is Cancel Culture at its finest! Stop with the Racism that doesn’t exist! Don’t Be A Fool!

Take a deep breath and read the legislation. Make informed judgements.

Quick ask them to name a single specific provision they disagree with. Sheep.

Patronizing

This is a bipartisan dog-and-pony show. BOTH PARTIES HATE BLACK PEOPLE...and take turns figuring out ways to have us re-fight battles for our freedom and full citizenship... that other citizens simply take for granted. notfooled weseeyou deathtowhitesupremacy

So after it passed, thanks guys. Way to step up.

Ken was lying 🤥 this morning on cnbc

I guess these fine Americans are ok with progressive Democrats using lax voter regulations to manipulate the vote. I guess Globalists are NOLT really concerned with democratic principles.

Good for them. Keep the pressure on...

I recommend relocating to California where taxes are low, government is friendly to business and crime is aggressively prosecuted.

'Companies need to take a stand': Black executives urge fight on voting limitsIn the toughest corporate stand yet against the new voting law in Georgia, dozens of Black executives, including Merck & Co Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Frazier, called on their peers in U.S. companies to push back against wider restrictions on voting rights. The campaign, announced on Wednesday and being led by Frazier and former American Express Co CEO Kenneth Chenault, urges companies - so far largely silent on the Georgia law - to look past appearing partisan and publicly stand against it and similar voting restrictions being pursued in other states. The Republican-backed Georgia law strengthened identification requirements for absentee ballots, shortened early voting periods for runoffs and made it a misdemeanor for members of the public to offer food and water to voters waiting in line.

‘This is a nonpartisan issue’: Black executives urge companies to fight restrictive voting lawsICYMI: Dozens of Black executives called on corporations to fight Republican-led legislation they say would limit voting access for Black voters in numerous states, and Delta's CEO publicly clashed with Georgia’s governor over a similar law passed there. Why is it a problem to show ID before you vote? 🤣—Read all the changes and not one of the restricts voter access, they all extend voter access and times and ways to vote. Sad that leads with such a biased and easily discredited buy-line. Every lame CEO is now piling on this woke path! Delta chief...READ the damn legislation first! And compare it to the voting laws in Delaware ( which Biden represented for decades)....No more Delta flights for me...
