What an accomplishment!

A mum-of-three who had to rely on the brilliant work done by foodbanks after the birth of her first child has since turned her life around to take home over £100k a year.Ellie Burscough, 35, fell on hard times after leaving her job in a call centre just one week before her eldest daughter Charlotte was born in April 2010.

“I felt like a bit of a failure. If friends asked me to go out for lunch or something like that, I couldn’t afford to.“I had always wanted to have at least £2,700 in my bank account so, if anything happened with my grandparents or family in England, I could go over and see them.Originally from Lancashire, Ellie moved to Australia with her family when she was just four-years-old.

“After I’d had my daughter, I decided I wanted a better life for us both, so I began learning to be a personal trainer when she was about six months old. The experience sparked a career change after she started looking for a space to work out, whilst also being able to keep her daughter close by. While they kept fit, their children were looked after by professional babysitters in a playpark within earshot.
