The United States has asked that the United Nations Security Council meet publicly on Monday to discuss Russia’s “threatening behavior” against Ukraine.

The UN Security Council has met dozens of times over the crisis in Ukraine since Russia annexed Crimea in 2014.

Russia has massed around 100 000 troops near the border with Ukraine while denying it plans to invade. “Russia is engaging in other destabilizing acts aimed at Ukraine, posing a clear threat to international peace and security and the UN Charter,” ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield said in a statement.

But Russia is within its borders. They keep on saying Ukraine has every right to join Nato if it wants, Russia has no sayin that. But they have a problem with Russia moving its troops closer to the Ukrainian border, while they are still within Russian borders. Doesn't make sense

The request should be made by Ukraine 🇺🇦 every time Democrats are in charge of US they pick a fight what's wrong with them 🚮
