Fertilizer stocks soar over Ukraine worries

Arnold noted that high wheat prices will put even more pressure on the cost of fertilizer, as farmers are likely to plant more acres and spend more in an effort to maximize yields. “Fertilizer prices are already high and the war is an additional element of pressure which could have further impact on the input costs,” Bibeau said. “We are monitoring the situation very closely.”
