Christopher Taylor included State College in his suit because he claims an officer took the side of the business.

Taylor, an Army combat veteran of the Vietnam War, suffers from a degenerative joint disease throughout most of his body and says the Department of Veterans Affairs lists him as 100 percent service-connected disabled. He left the store, approached mall security and requested police be called. When State College Officer Amanda Estep arrived he attempted to explain what had occurred.
