Texas Canoes & Kayaks and Paddle with Style lost most of their boats during a tornado last week, and estimates the loss is worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

LULING, Texas – It’s a long road to recovery for Holly Orr. Her home was hit by a tornado last week.

Orr owns Texas Canoes & Kayaks and Paddle with Style. Most of her 90 boats were destroyed. Some might be able to be repaired, but it's too soon to know. Orr guesses there’s been between $100,000-$200,000 worth of loss. Some of the boats she’s throwing into a dumpster cost $3,000 each. The home she moved into two months ago is now unlivable. It was lifted up and pushed about eight feet away. Still, it kept Orr and her pets safe.
