The African National Congress Women’s League President Bathabile Dlamini says she will step aside from her position should she be requested to do so by the governing party’s top officials.following the 2017 inquiry into social grants at the South African Social Security Agency . She is due to be sentenced tomorrow.

The ANC has a standing resolution that all members facing criminal charges must step aside, pending the finalisation of their cases and those convicted must resign. However, Dlamini has not been suspended nor has she resigned. Speaking to SABC News, Bathabile Dlamini says, “Yes, if I am called to step aside by the officials, I will do so. But also, if the Constitution was very clear on this matter – the resolution of the 54th conference was very clear on the matter, there would be no need for anyone to come and say to me step aside.”

Another amendment to the Nasrec resolutions

why doesnt a person have the decency , and common sense anymore to do the right thing instead of waiting for someone else to tell them what to do, so pathetic

If she had any honor, she should step aside of her own free will. But as it is it was shown by the court, she has no integrity or honor.

That hat! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈

She should have stepped aside willingly after she was found guilty...

Step aside and stop with threats of imaginary 'we all have smallanyana skeletons in the closet', that song is old, tronk toe!

lol they way she looks barbied.....or suffering with that 40k pension and 70k womans league

Why must she be asked if indeed she respect the party policies, it's stated that if she is charged and found guilty she must step aside no need to be asked
