The S&P/ASX 200 Index rose 0.6 per cent to 7565.2 points. Praemium soared 15.3 per cent to 71.5¢ and Syrah Resources surged 14.3 per cent to $1.79.

, up 36.4 per cent on the prior corresponding period, with year-to-date net inflows to March 31 of $9.3 billion. Average monthly net inflows for financial year 2022-to-date are $1 billion, up 65 per cent.

Janus Henderson dropped 0.6 per cent to $44.89. Broker Morgan Stanley cut its price target to $48 from $54.40, although it kept its recommendation at “equal-weight”. Analyst Andrei Stadnik lowered 2022 earnings estimates by 12 per cent to account for mark-to-market movement in investment returns, outflows, and business costs.

Faster core inflation and wages growth could bring forward the Reserve Bank of Australia’s interest rate timeline, minutes from the central bank’s April meeting showed.
