Taoiseach Micheál Martin has said he is clear in his conscience that it is the right decision to go ahead with the new National Maternity Hospital. The cabinet approved the €800 million-plus project despite calls from the opposition for further debate. There have been some tweaks made to the deal to move the National Maternity Hospital from Holles Street in central Dublin to the St Vincent’s Hospital campus in Dublin 4.
