Former ANZ Banking Group trader Eddie Listorti’s climate change investment shop Viridios Capital is expanding its footprint, as competition for nature-based carbon projects heats up

Viridios has hired Anna Ozga, who led the establishment of BHP’s global carbon desk, as head of research, and former Qatar Investment Authority dealmaker Francis Hasek as head of structuring.

The firm also picked up Sarah Costello from The Water and Carbon Group to source Australian projects across water, waste, environmental remediation and carbon. It comes three years after Listorti, a former global head of fixed income, currencies and commodities at ANZ, set up Viridios to advise, trade and manage carbon credit portfolios, and source carbon credits in primary markets.
