The German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry is aiming to push for the amendment of the Dual Training System Act in the 19th Congress to promote the right competencies and skills of the Filipino work force.

The Dual Training System Act of 1994 or Republic Act 7686 is a law which aims to strengthen manpower education and training in the Philippines so that the country may be assured of an ever-growing supply of an educated and skilled manpower equipped with appropriate skills, desirable work habits, and attitudes.
