Corner Lot breaks ground on Home2 Suites hotel

Corner Lot and Kelco Management and Development Inc. had a groundbreaking ceremony for the downtown Jacksonville Home2 Suites hotel on Wednesday.The $17 million hotel project consists of 100 rooms and 2,000 square feet for a restaurant. It’s described as a mid-scale select service extended stay hotel.

There are two other Home2 Suites properties in the Jacksonville area, one near the airport and another on Gate Parkway.
