Union says company's staff cuts to long-term care 'disheartening' to hard-pressed workersStaff reductions at a major chain of long-term care facilities is an insult to workers’ pandemic sacrifice and puts vulnerable clients at risk, says the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees yyc It's all about maximizing profits! Owners don't care about residents let alone staff. Union & it's members are just as quilty. It seems some of the staff spend more time on their phones then caring for the clients. Screaming at the vulnerable doesn't help matters either. There is some great staff, but sadly there is a lot of untrained deadwood. See it every day.
