In an equity research report from August, Morningstar senior equity analyst Jaime M. Katz noted that, despite the economic uncertainty, toy demand remains resilient, which will support Spin Master’s growth. The company raked in $1.34 billion in revenue for the second quarter of 2022, up a modest one per cent compared with the same period last year.

One of the company’s strengths, Katz said, is its differentiated business model and multimedia presence. In 2019, Hasbro purchased Entertainment One, the Canadian production company known for its kids brand Peppa Pig.
