“I want to support businesses that are part of the community that are trying to give back,” Jade Patterson, a regular customer, said.

The coffee shop is co-owned by Sounders player Fredy Montero, his wife Alexis, and Mikhail and Jessica Ghyvoronsky.

“For us this was a promise, a promise for us that we were going to continue to share Margo’s testimony,” Alexis said. The couple’s youngest daughter, Margo, was born with a heart defect. “I couldn’t be more thankful and grateful for everything the nurses and doctors did for us and for our family and for her especially,” Fredy said. Margo spent two weeks in the hospital.
