ANALYSIS | The new Eskom board's 75% challenge
Energy Intensive Users Group CEO Fanele Mondi said the previous Eskom board was heavily handicapped by vacancies and skills gaps. Mondi said the new board seemed"complete and well balanced in terms of its skills and experience". Black Business Council CEO Kganki Matabane said the first responsibility of the new board should be to release CEO André de Ruyter and Oberholzer, calling the two directors"incompetent".
_Business ? And exactly what do these people bring to the table certainly no engineering experience or knowledge...again suites who have no technical background... down we go nothing changes at Eskom.
_Business How do you appoint someone that was a bricklayer to run/rescue a farming business. The incompetency of our Ministers is really sickening.

_Business What engineering or technical experience does he bring to the board? An administrative degree - WTF? More darkness ahead.
_Business They have not worked there way up from the bottom to the top in Eskom so how the heck can they make decisions that will mean anything as they have understanding of what must really be done
_Business This board demands for its members hands to get dirty. If they don’t find themselves in the trenches of Eskom_SA, they will fail. Their track record of being in suits & in air-conditioned boardrooms is not inspiring. It’s going to be a struggle still.

_Business Anything appointed by Pravin is useless. He is not supposed to be appointing anything instead he should be fired. HE President Jacob Zuma once fired this underperforming jamnandas. Look now they brought him back take us suffer.
_Business The problem is they don't have engineering background so it won't solve the problems. They might communicate better because of their communication background but that won't solve the problems because they don't have the technical background.
