There's been an unprecedented surge in demand

The company behind the Ninja Air Fryer says an increasing number of fraudulent websites are trying to scam people by advertising the them at greatly reduced prices. Ninja said that some websites are offering the Max Foodi product for as low as £79.

Given that it uses less electricity to cook smaller batches of food, air fryers have grown in popularity amid the cost of living crisis. But shoppers have now been warned that some deals are "too good to be true", LeicestershireLive reports. A spokesperson for Ninja said: "Following an unprecedented surge in demand for Ninja products, particularly our Air Fryers, we have become aware of a rise in fraudulent websites appearing to offer our products at greatly reduced prices.“We would recommend any new or existing customers only purchase goods through the official Ninja website or via a reputable retail partner to ensure you receive our 5 star rated products as ordered.

Air Fryers have increased in popularity as foodies can cook batches of food in minutes rather than waiting for the oven to heat up. It also does not need oil to cook the products in making it healthier for the consumer.
