“We’ve put up nets, taken safety measures, but neighbours continue to have these issues,” he said. “It’s become so significant we’ve had to look at rerouting or changing some of our holes, and the impact of that could be more negative than positive.” The other options they’re looking at are moving the course to a new location, possibly outside of the city, or buying into other golf businesses in the area. The idea of merging with the Clovelly Golf Club has been floated recently, Rose said, and may be a possibility for the future.
