A new Abacus survey by Medavie Blue Cross says 27% of Ontario’s small business owners say hiring and keeping employees is one of the biggest challenges they face today.

Other than dental, drug and vision coverage, the survey says the most important benefits to small business employees are hospital coverage critical illness insurance , diagnostic tests , long-term disability , and health practitioners .
