The Albanese Government has given its 'rock-solid backing' to building up the nation's own missile industry, with a minister noting 'quite frankly we need more missiles in Australia'.

"We can get this done quickly and efficiently – by pooling our expertise and knowledge, and by making it easier for our respective Defence departments and defence industries to work together."

"We will need help from the American Government and from our two strategic partners, Lockheed Martin Australia and Raytheon Australia, as well as the many companies in their supply chains. At a press conference after delivering his speech, Mr Conroy was quizzed on the timeline Australia was looking at to establish the domestic missile industry.

"This is a really important enterprise. The lessons from the Ukraine war are that we use missile stocks or all munitions, but particularly guided weapons, very fast in a conflict," Mr Conroy said.

”KILLING CIVILIANS IN THE NAME OF DEMOCRACY IS NOT DEMOCRACY, IT IS MURDER PLAIN AND SIMPLE.” This is why JulianAssange is illegally imprisoned at the behest of the USA Government who want to punish him for exposing their war crimes.

We are the Land of Many Missiles.

I am so sick of our psychopathic political class, leveraging the future of our children, so their corporate owners can kill poor people in far away lands. I have ZERO respect for anyone currently serving as a member of our defence force. You're nothing more than a hitman.

Give nationality to labour , Your sleeping man ,wake up think about Labour who's spent 10 years there still not come to homeland

Of course we do, hopefully we never have to use them, but all weapons and military equipment are a deterrent to anyone thinking about harming us. 👍
