Eastern Cape police have launched a manhunt for suspects allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of three teenagers and the wounding of three other people, in Port St Johns last night.

It’s alleged that police were attending to another complaint when they heard gunshots nearby. Upon investigation, they found three bodies, two males and one female aged between 17 and 18 years old.

Police spokesperson Priscilla Naidoo says three other people suffered gunshot wounds and were taken to hospital. “Police in Port St Johns is on the hunt for suspects allegedly involved in the fatal shooting of three teenagers last night. It is alleged that at about 19:10 police were attending to another complaint at Qhubuswayo locality when they heard – the sound of gunfire.

They immediately drove in that direction and saw some males running away. They chased after them but they managed to escape. On further investigation, they found the bodies of three teenagers, two males and a female ages between 17 and 18 years old lying by.
