The UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is calling on the public to share its views regarding Microsoft's prop…

), the publication of its Issues Statement now means it's at the point where"we invite anyone, including members of the public, to share their views with us." In total, there are two opportunities for the public to share their views and evidence with the CMA during Phase 2 - the second being in response to its provisional findings, which may include potential solutions to its concerns.

Full details on contacting the CMA regarding the Microsoft-Activision deal are provided on its guidance page, but the regulator notes it"may not be able to individually acknowledge and respond" to emails given the anticipated volume of submissions.

Something the public is not qualified to answer

Its totally anti-competitive and harms all consumers on all platforms.

It's an anti competitive acquisition. It should not go ahead. This is from someone who solely games on PC and would only stand to benefit from such a deal (one less platform for Devs to optimise for means better PC version).

Where do I sign to say yes

I see CMA is getting the scapegoat ready for when Microsoft takes them to court 'Whaaat? We are not in Sony's Pockets, We just were following the advice of our consumers (which BTW we asked online and have no way to verify who lives or not in UK)'

Can we get actual public and not just Sony fans? Because so far that seems to be all they're talking to (including themselves)

Lmao. I would love to get just a sneak peak at the responses

End it.

Microsoft killing the gaming world

Jfc i hope the people who have to read the emails is gona get a bonus.....

Such a terribly written story. Here’s the email to send your opinion about the merger: microsoft.activisioncma.gov.uk

will there be a vote

Oh good. I’ll be putting my arguments against it to them shortly.

That reputation the CMA chief has for making lots of noise and not doing anything didn’t happen by mistake did it 🙄
