President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. is pushing for the creation of a demand-driven scholarship program to help address skill shortages in the information and communication technology industry.
The government, he said, could then provide scholarships for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics courses to qualified beneficiaries, which can help fill out the said industry requirements.
