Corner Lot project with workforce housing component gets approval

The second phase of Jacksonville firm Corner Lot's development in St. Augustine called Flagler Crossing was recently approved.In partnership with the city, 50 of the 180 units in the new phase will be leased at designated workforce housing leasing rates. The workforce housing rates will be offered in perpetuity based on a developer agreement and new land use and zoning designations.

“Entry-level teachers, first responders and law enforcement officers will now be able to qualify and allow us to provide an apartment home for their family to enjoy the same community and amenities as their neighbors.” The $112 million project will include a clubhouse with a coffee bar and a fitness center, a resort-style pool with an outdoor summer kitchen, a beach volleyball court, waterfront access with a kayak launch, a one-mile walking trail, and more than 50 acres of undeveloped conservation land.
