Port Adelaide has made the first move of the delisted free agency period, signing former Geelong forward Francis Evans. 7NEWS

The 21-year-old has played seven senior games, including five this year, but was cut by the CatsWATCH IN THE VIDEO ABOVE: Bombers land early draft win with Davey twins.

With Robbie Gray and Steven Motlop retiring, Evans will fancy his chances of breaking into the senior side at the Power.“Going into the off-season we recognised a need to bolster our small forward stocks and Francis is a player we identified as suiting that need,” said Port Adelaide list manager Jason Cripps.
