City issues $26 million permit for Northside industrial warehouse

An industrial project received a construction permit for a $26 million warehouse at Park 295 in Northwest Jacksonville.

The approved 435,943-square-foot shell building is located on 2845 Ignition Dr., sitting on 23 acres. California-based beverage distribution company Alta Warehousing & Logistics will be Building D’s tenant. The permit was issued to James R. Vannoy & Sons Construction. Newmark Phoenix Realty Group represents the property.

The park has 1.7 million square feet of industrial space. Newmark Phoenix Realty Senior Vice President Richard Antczak called the industrial market in Jacksonville strong and encouraging.The project, Park 295 Building D, is part of the Park 295 Industrial Park. Building D is the second-largest facility on the property behind Building B, which counts APR Energy, health care product distributor Sarnova, Quiet Logistics and Ulta Beauty as tenants.

There are four other warehouse sites on the property, and three have multiple tenants. The industrial park has 139 developable acres of space, just south of Interstate 295 and Jacksonville International Airport. The developer is Kansas City-based NorthPoint Development.
