Dallas-based Rosewood Property Company purchased the 18.03-acre site in Irving-Las Colinas back in May.

Rosewood Property Company, a privately owned real estate development, investment and operation company with a majority of its assets being in multifamily and self-storage, purchased the 18.03-acre site in Irving-Las Colinas back in May. The Dallas-based firm has requested to replat the property, which is located near the Toyota Music Factory and the Irving Convention Center, into three lots – two for multifamily uses and one lot for professional office use.

The acreage once housed the first-ever office building developed in the greater Las Colinas area, according to. The three-story structure was originally built for a regional office tied to Allstate Insurance Co. in 1976. A final action tied to the potential construction of a private street is expected this Thursday, November 10, at Irving City Council meeting, the P&Z agenda stated.Bustling Irving is also attracting further development, such as Wells Fargo's
