Scottsdale-based Axon Enterprise Inc., a maker of equipment and systems for law enforcement agencies, got a hardy bump in after-hours trading on Wall Street Tuesday after reporting record revenue for the third quarter, beating analysts’ earnings estimates and forecasting continued momentum.
The company’s stock had already ended on a high note Tuesday, closing up $1.56, or 1.05%, to $150 — its highest price of the year. But then the earnings report came out, and the stock gained 8.3% in the early after-hours period to reach $162.50.The company pointed to growth of its software-as-a-service Axon Cloud product as a key factor in its Q3 growth.
