Jerry LeBlanc, who is with Homelife Commercial Real Estate, told SaltWire Network on Nov. 8 that a local buyer has purchased the former Sherwood BMR property in Charlottetown but declined to offer any details on what the intentions are. - Dave StewartCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A Charlottetown property which once featured a building supply business has been sold and will be redeveloped.

“I would say over the next six months somebody is going in and making that property a hell of a lot nicer than it does now," LeBlanc said. “It needs some new life and it’s going to get some." In a text to SaltWire Network on Nov. 8, Shaw confirmed he sold the building that was once Sherwood BMR but leased back some space on the property for his pre-built home business.

LeBlanc declined to be specific about how much interest the new owner has had in redeveloping the property.
